💰How much is the Rent?

$1,400 plus utilities

🔌Are Utilities included?

No, utilities are not included. Tenant pays all utilities.

  • Electricity (Electric Hot water, Baseboard Heaters & Lights)
  • Internet (Starlink) is $80/mo

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Is it a shared space?

No. These are private apartments with their own entrance. There are no shared spaces. Other apartment units are rented by friendly single people or senior couples.

🦻Noise levels?

For an old home, it's a very quiet and tranquil space. Apartments are not sound proof but most noise is dampened. Speeding noises coming from the road (loud drivers) could be heard sometimes. Please note that the silent or very quiet hours must be observed from 8pm to 8am.

♿Accessibility features?

This is a ground apartment unit with 5 wooden steps. The mini deck/porch may be upgraded in the future. The bathroom has a handicap grab bar. If you require other accessibility feature (like a special parking space) let us know in your application.

🔨What type of TLC (renos) does it need?

Some work has already been done, but there are some more things to do. If you can help with any of these tasks below, let us know in your application:

  • Install New Windows
  • Build new Kitchen cabinets

💧What is the water quality?

The building has commercial grade whole-building Smart High Efficiency Automatic Water Conditioners that are regularly maintaned by a red seal plumber and monitored by a global water treatment company with local presence. Tenants are also able to pay for the installation and maintanance of their own additional under-sink water filter if they wish to do so. If Tenants prefer distilled or spring water, they can visit Canadian Springs® website for recurring water deliveries.
